In the afternoon of December 13th, 2016, the Board of Directors and the General Director Board of Kinhbac City Development Holding Corporation (KBC) hold a meeting with big shareholders, investors, securities companies, fund management companies…in purpose of sharing the successful business result, positive business news, plans, KBC’s opportunities, answering the questions and listening to the recommendation, consultation from shareholders, investors and securities companies.

In the afternoon of December 13, 2016, Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corporation (KBC) will occur the meeting and seminar among Mr. Dang Thanh Tam – Chairman of KBC with Board of Directors, the major shareholders of KBC, investors and stock companies etc. KBC will sumarize about a year of its successful business in the meeting. Simultaneously, KBC also would like to take advantage of listening ideas and opinions, contributions and consulting from shareholders and investors, stock companies for KBC not only to improve the business goals but help KBC stock price reach the real evaluation to ensure long-term rights of shareholders.

Construction of the JA Solar Vietnam plant project officially started on November 27 at Quang Chau industrial park in Viet Yen district in Bac Giang province.

In the afternoon September 19th, 2016, at the Hai Phong Convention Centre , the Investment Promotion Conference 2016 of Hai Phong city namely "Hai Phong - Investors Destination" held solemnly. The conference attracted nearly 500 delegates from the ministries, central agencies, embassies, international organizations, the Office of Trade and Industry of countries in Vietnam, potential investors. The Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended and directed the conference.

In the afternoon on Sep 14th 2016, on the Vietnam - Hong Kong Business and Investment Conference, cooperation agreements between Vietnamese and Hongkong partners were signed. Kinhbac City Development Holding Corporation (KBC) has attended the conference in which it signed the in-principle agreement on subleasing 14ha land with Luxshare – ICT Corporation.

Trong thời gian gần đây và hiện nay Chủ tịch HĐQT - Ông Đặng Thành Tâm cùng Ban Tổng Giám đốc đã hoạt động hết sức tích cực, không kể thời gian, liên tục tiếp nhiều Tập đoàn lớn đến làm việc, sẵn sàng thuê đất với diện tích lớn, có quy mô hàng trăm ha tại các KCN của KBC và đã đạt được nhiều kết quả rất khả quan trong quá trình đàm phán. Vì vậy, dự kiến kết quả hoạt động kinh doanh của KBC những tháng cuối năm sẽ có nhiều đột biến.

Sáng ngày 11/7/2016, tại Văn phòng UBND tỉnh Bắc Giang đã diễn ra lễ ký kết Hợp đồng nguyên tắc thuê lại đất tại Khu công nghiệp Quang Châu giữa Công ty Cổ phần Khu công nghiệp Sài Gòn – Bắc Giang (tên viết tắt SBG, là chủ đầu tư KCN Quang Châu, cũng là công ty con của KBC) và Công ty JA Solar Hongkong Investment. Theo đó, JA Solar thuê 88 ha tại KCN Quang Châu của KBC để đầu tư dự án sản xuất pin năng lượng mặt trời với tổng vốn đầu tư lên tới hơn 1 tỷ USD. Với diện tích cho thuê này, SBG sẽ thu được hơn 1000 tỷ; nhà đầu tư sau khi ký hợp đồng nguyên tắc sẽ đặt cọc ngay 20%.

Chiều ngày 6/5/2016, tại KCN Tràng Duệ, thuộc Khu Kinh tế Đình Vũ - Cát Hải, thành phố Hải Phòng, Công ty LG Display Việt Nam đã long trọng tổ chức lễ khởi công xây dựng tổ hợp nhà máy với diện tích 40,5ha.
