THE VISITING AND RESEARCH FOR INDUSTRIAL PARK DEVELOPMENT MODELS IN HAI PHONG, BAC NINH, BAC GIANG PROVINCE
On October 30 afternoon, a delegation of Can Tho City led by comrade Nguyen Van Hieu, - alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee, came to visit and research the industrial park (IP) development models of Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corporation (KBC) in Hai Phong City.

With more than 21 years of experience, KBC currently has 25 industrial parks with a total area of 6,387 hectares of industrial land and 1,263 hectares of urban land and the total investment capital of over 20 billion USD, attracting over 1,000 investment projects. The secondary investors come from more than 30 countries and regions; creating jobs for more than 300,000 workers nationwide. Industrial land is invested in synchronous infrastructure and the ready-built factories have an area of 2,000-8,000m2. In service urban areas, there are social housing areas and modern urban areas with integrated services.
The Can Tho City’s delegation visited LG Innotek Company Limited in Trang Due Industrial Park, Hai Phong City
The delegation visited and learned from experience at Trang Due Industrial Park, Hai Phong City, which is part of Dinh Vu - Cat Hai Economic Zone. In phase 1 and phase 2, the industrial land area has a scale of 401 hectares and has been filled with a total FDI capital of 9.2 billion USD from 112 projects. This is an industrial park that focuses on Korean investors such as LG, Haengsung, and Heesung. KBC is implementing the Trang Due 3 Industrial Park project with a scale of 687 hectares and attracting investment in the fields of high technology, electronics, electric vehicles and semiconductors, etc. On this occasion, the delegation visited Sai Gon – Hai Phong Industrial Park Corporation which is under KBC, LG Innotek Vietnam - Hai Phong Co., Ltd. - one of KBC's large-scale secondary investors in Trang Due Industrial Park.

The Can Tho City delegation exchanged experiences in industrial park planning orientation, the connecting infrastructure serving industrial parks, investment in industrial park development, the attraction toward secondary investors, large enterprises and satellite enterprises; development of service urban areas, etc. At each destination, the Can Tho City delegation introduced the city's industrial development potential, affirming the spirit of readiness to accompany infrastructure investors in industrial parks and secondary investors when coming to Can Tho to operate.

The delegation visited KBC in Que Vo Industrial Park, Bac Ninh province and Foxconn Vietnam in Quang Chau Industrial Park, Bac Giang province. Que Vo Industrial Park has a scale of 611 hectares, 100% of the industrial land area has been filled, with a total FDI capital of 2.7 billion USD, attracting 125 investment projects with strategic investors such as Foxconn, Canon, Goertek, etc. Que Vo Expanded Industrial Park with a scale of 150 hectares is attracting investment in high technology, electronics, electric vehicles, electronics and semiconductor industries, etc. Quang Chau Industrial Park has a scale of 516 hectares with the total FDI capital of 3.59 billion USD from 42 investment projects, strategic investors such as Foxconn, Luxshare, Lens, etc.
