KBC HELD A SEMINAR TO WELCOME NEARLY 100 INVESTORS FROM CHINA ELECTRONIC PRODUCTION ASSOCIATIONS

On the morning of May 30, 2023, at the headquarter of Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corporation (KBC), Que Vo Industrial Park, Bac Ninh province, a seminar on investment connection of Chinese electronic enterprises in 2023 was held with the participation of KBC's Board of Directors, affiliates, guests and nearly 100 investors from China Electronic Manufacturing Associations. This seminar is a successful continuation of investment promotion seminars and conferences that KBC chaired and co-hosted in Quarter 1 and Quarter 2 of 2023.

Speaking at the opening, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - General Director of KBC welcomed the investment survey delegation of Chinese electronic enterprises who visited, surveyed and learned KBC's IP projects. Ms. Huong shared, KBC is one of the leading industrial park infrastructure enterprises in Vietnam with more than 20 large and medium-sized industrial park projects, spreading across 3 regions of North - Central – South of Vietnam, managing land fund for industrial park of more than 6,000 ha. The wide distribution of KBC's IP projects makes it convenient for customers to survey and decide on investment locations. Moreover, with more than 20 years of experience in the field of industrial park development and foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction in Vietnam, KBC is confident to provide investors with fullest support and commit to accompany investors to successfully implement projects in Vietnam.

The survey team of Chinese electronic enterprises this time included nearly 100 electronic enterprises from 4 associations and organizations including: Guangdong leading Intelligent Terminal Industry Technology Research Institute, Shenzhen Display Industry Association (SDIA), Shenzhen Electronic Equipment Industry Association, Shenzhen Smart Device Industry Association. After the global crisis caused by the pandemic, this was the second time these associations organized a delegation to survey investment situation in Vietnam.

Mr. Ly Diep - Chairman of the Leading Intelligent Terminal Technology Research Institute in Guangdong province hoped that throughout this survey, Chinese investors would have more opportunities to learn the investment policies in local markets of Vietnam, conditions to support the industrial chain and discuss with Chinese-owned enterprises that have set up factories in Vietnam in the early stages to get valuable experiences in investing and setting up factories in Vietnam; at the same time, to help many Chinese manufacturing companies gain deeper understanding of Vietnam, the situation of Chinese enterprises investing and developing in Vietnam in a more intuitive and comprehensive way.

KBC General Director – Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong was very open to answering questions and issues concerned by investors about investment incentives in Bac Ninh province, the expected time of implementing the Trang Due 3 IP project in Hai Phong, attracted investment fields in industrial parks, average salary by region in Vietnam, etc.

KBC's General Director introduced to investors about KBC's new industrial park projects, especially promoting industrial parks in Hau Giang province. Sharing with investors, KBC was speeding up the approval procedures as well as the implementation of compensation and site clearance for a number of new industrial park projects of KBC such as: Trang Due 3 Industrial Park (687 ha) in Hai Phong, Loc Giang Industrial Park (466 ha) and Phuoc Vinh Dong Industrial Park (200 ha) in Long An, Song Hau 2 Industrial Park (380 ha) in Hau Giang, new industrial clusters in Hung Yen province (225 ha),... Accelerating the progress of industrial park projects will help KBC have more for business and have more opportunities to attract FDI quickly and effectively in the near time.

The seminar was held in a friendly, exciting and open atmosphere between KBC and the Chinese community of associations, businesses, and electronic investors. The seminar was also an important event for the parties to meet, exchange and share information on potentials, strengths, and investment opportunities in KBC's IP projects, thereby inviting and attracting Chinese investors in electronics to seek opportunities for investment and business cooperation in Vietnam.
