On July 21^st, 2014, Hai Phong City honored to welcome State President Truong Tan Sang (Member of Politburo, State President) and Central Government delegation visited and examined the socio-economic development and thenational defense – security guarantee. State President Truong Tan Sang also visited Trang Due Industrial Zone in the afternoon.

Visitting LG Electrinics factory in Trang Due Industrial Parks, State President Truong Tan San was  glad to glace the growth of construction, technology, modern techniques. He also hoped that LGE would have products quickly in order to meet demand of the local consumption and export. President emphasized that Vietnam regarded Korea as an important strategic partnership and Vietnam  would create favorable conditions for Korea’s  investors.

In fact, about LGE project in Hai Phong, President is interested in the project from the LGE Group which intends to invest in Vietnam. And the government has removed many obstacles in order that the projects implemented smoothly. President praised the excellent coordination, timely difficulties and obstacles removal for the project of Party Committee, Hai Phong People's Committee. President believed that with the close cooperation, LGE project in Hai Phong will succeed and achieve high efficiency, bring more benefits to both parties.

President Truong Tan Sang visited LGE Factory (Trang Due Industrial Zone)

General Director of LGE reported LGE Project in Trang Due Industrial Zone to the President. This project has 40 ha area, with the total capital investment is up to 1.5 billion USD. This project  is the largest foreign investment in Hai Phong, which is currently in stage of completion. It will product test and officialy operate in mid-September 2014, with various product such as the device of cars, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners, televisions, mobile phones.

At this time, President affirmed that Vietnam will create all conditions in order that LGE can stand strongly in Vietnam market, continue to invest widely and develop strongly with Vietnam in the future.

KBC Grouphas nvested and managed  Trang Due Industrial Zone recently. On August 15^th, 2013, Trang Due Industrial Zone has become a part of the Dinh Vu – Cat Hai economic zone, accordingly, the investment projects in Trang Due Industrial Zone are enjoyedincentives with investment projects in Dinh Vu economic Zone - Cat Hai.
